Jorel Van Os, CISO, Acrisure: Launching a Business Within the Business on the Success of our Internal Security Program
As cybersecurity leaders, we all want our information security teams and programs to be seen as a business enabler. In this session I will tell my story as CISO of a $23 billion company, keeping up with our incredible trajectory and M&A, and how we translated the success of our own enterprise information security program into a brand-new cybersecurity services vertical to protect our clients.
Being both a CISO and working for a large insurance broker I have unique insight into the cyber liability insurance marketplace trends, outlook, and issues. We’ll review specific suggestions on how you can improve your application and what additional preparations you may need to prepare for a potential security incident. There’s an entire world of carriers, underwriters, reinsurance carriers, and syndicates and knowing how the system works–as well as educating your carrier–helps you maximize the value your organization receives from this coverage.
